Do you see children? At what age do you see children?
Dr. Josh Halderman and his entire team love treating children, and we offer a variety of children’s dentistry in our Galloway, OH practice. Dr. Halderman is the parent of two young children himself, so he understands the challenges parents face in bringing their little ones to the dentist for the first time.
We generally like to see kids around the age of two or three for their first dental cleaning. At that point, children are old enough to be active participants in their visit. But we also encourage parents to bring their infants and toddlers along to their own appointments to get kids accustomed to the sights and sounds of the dental office from an early age. By the time they are ready for their first official “spin” in the dental chair, kids are already familiar with it.
Your Child's First Visit
At your child’s first visit, you can rest assured that Dr. Halderman and his team members will move along at a pace that is comfortable for everyone. We will never force anything on kids; we want their earliest memories of the dentist to be positive to set them up for a lifetime of good oral care.
